We recently designed a Visitor Hub for Langley Vale Woods. The hub is formed from a composed group of buildings providing facilities to visitors of the woods and the staff that work there.
The layout of the group of buildings was carefully considered in order to create a welcoming space on arrival while also providing a strong link to the WW1 Memorial, both visually and physically via a path. The use of screens in the entrance shelter reveal framed views towards the Memorial and proposed Woodland landscape, while still offering protection from the elements.
