The Bridge Hotel, Prestbury

We were asked to bring a new lease of life to The Bridge Hotel, a historic listed hotel in the Prestbury Village.  Although the Hotel has enjoyed a good reputation, the limitations caused by the historic fabric of the building and the sporadic extensions over the years has meant that the hotel required a comprehensive redevelopment.  We have currently reached the initial concept stage.

The design creates a new entrance for the restaurant on the main street enabling it to have the presence a destination venue needs.  The layout is improved and numbers of covers increased.  The back of house kitchen extensions are replaced with new buildings more in keeping with the original group of buildings.  The hotel accommodation is rationalised and increased by extending the annex along its width.  A new hotel entrance has been added in a replacement link building this leads to a new large function room with external terraces and also to a new spa.
