Fasciato Architects is a creative, evolving, multi-disciplinary design studio based in Altrincham.
Set up in 2000 by Chris Fasciato, it is a small family-run practice now led by Director Beatrice Fasciato who joined the practice as a student. Whilst at university, Beatrice met Chris and Ian at the Manchester School of Architecture and we have been working together ever since!
We love designing.
We approach design by taking a brief, and creating ideas beyond imagination. Our clients have big dreams and we endeavour to realise these ambitions.
As a small team, we work creatively, collaboratively and efficiently. What matters to us most is that we are approachable and flexible and provide a personal and cohesive service which is bespoke to you and your project. We can take your project from beginning to end, through the initial ideas, design development and regulatory processes, to the construction phase and finally to completion.
Our belief is that good design should be attractive, sustainable and cost effective. We identify where the real issues are and enjoy nothing more than being presented with a design brief and use our experience and expertise to interpret, rationalise and resolve, creating beautiful, functional and original architecture.
Our ultimate objective is to work with our clients to produce beautiful and exciting architecture that enhances our environment and creates exceptional interior and exterior spaces.

How We Work
We specialise in a range of residential and commercial projects, from reworking and extending existing homes to creating new one off houses and from creating initial concepts to designing completed fit outs for retail, restaurants, bars and cafes. We have extensive experience of projects involving challenging historic and listed buildings as well as buildings within conservation areas.
We take our clients’ brief seriously. We listen and respond by producing proposals in conjunction with our own ideas and experience . We develop the designs, we produce the technical information so that the designs can be realised and we are involved in the construction stages to ensure that the final build is in line with your initial ambition. We can even produce 3d prints of your project to communicate our ideas more effectively.
We know it can feel daunting embarking on a project, but the process is divided into stages using the RIBA Plan of Work and we can do as much or as little as you like. We work closely with you from beginning to end, advising and guiding you to make the process run smoother.

Planning
Securing planning approval is a key landmark for any project. We pride ourselves on our high success rate in achieving planning approval for our Clients for a wide variety of building uses and projects including conservation area and listed building consent, projects in greenbelt and residential, restaurants and bars, hotels and offices.
Our successful planning approvals span some of the UK’s most prominent and diverse authorities, from major cities like Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and the City of London, to boroughs and districts across the Home Counties. In the North West we have great experience with successful applications in authorities including Trafford, Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Stockport, Salford, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Warrington, High Peak, St Helens, Ribble Valley and Stoke-on-Trent. Further afield, we have secured permissions in Surrey, Wycombe District and Runnymede on the outskirts of London, and across the Welsh border in Wrexham and the Isle of Anglesey.
