Logos
Design sits at the heart of everything we do. While architecture and interiors form the core of our practice, we also take great pleasure in creating logos and visual identities. For us, branding is not an isolated discipline but an intrinsic part of how a company expresses itself. A logo becomes a distilled architectural gesture: a mark that communicates character, values and atmosphere in a single, memorable form. It is also a natural extension of interior design and placemaking, shaping how people experience a business long before they step through the door.
We have created identities for a range of independent companies, including New Fold Farm in Edale, a family run campsite in the heart of the Peak District, and Ciao, a vibrant pizzeria in Manchester. Each required a logo that reflected not only the nature of their business but the personality of the people behind it. Flexibility and adaptability were essential, allowing the identity to evolve across signage, interiors, menus, clothing and digital platforms. This belief in responsive, character driven graphics also informed the design of our own studio logo.
New Fold Farm
For New Fold Farm, we drew inspiration from the rolling hills and expansive views of the Peak District. The landscape here has a quiet drama, a sense of wonder that unfolds as you move through it. Our response was to create a logo that captured this depth and layered horizon, placing the campsite at the centre of a wider journey. The mark suggests both shelter and adventure, grounding the business in its setting while hinting at the experiences that lie beyond.
The colourways were designed to be flexible, working equally well as a full palette or as a simple outline. This adaptability allows the identity to sit comfortably across a wide range of applications, from signage and printed materials to interior details and staff clothing. The result is a visual language that feels rooted in place, warm, welcoming and quietly confident.
Ciao
Looking to the past for the future we referenced Italian Futurism, specifically Umberto Boccioni’s Unique Forms of Continuity in Space sculpture to create an exciting, colourful and flexible logo.
